Attended Occidental College then University of Southern California in the spring and summer of 1943. Drafted into the Navy, USN(CB) in October 1943. Served in Hawaii, Tinian and Okinawa until Honorable Discharge in late 1945. Attended Long Beach City College in 1946 until enrolled in Leland Stanford Junior University in Spring quarter 1947. Received an AB in June 1950. Enrolled in Stanford University School of Medicine in Fall 1949 and graduated with an M.D. in June 1954. Internship at Stanford University Hospital in San Francisco 1953-1954 on the Surgical Service. Then a two year, General Practice Residency at the Stanislas County Hospital in Modesto, Calif. Private Practice in anesthesia an general practice in Orange County, Humboldt County and again in Orange County until employed as Physician and Surgeon in the California Department of Corrections at the Calif. Institution for Women in 1972. Retired in 1997.

The remainder of my time has been spent in developing some solution to the problem that the Medical Care Industry is posing at the present time to bankrupt the country. This booklet, and the books that follow, is directed toward this solution.”
